Upgrading your alloys

Alloy wheels come standard on many cars now, but not always and if you have an older car it may have plastic wheel trims instead. Some people do not like having alloy wheels on their car as they understand that they are costly to replace should one get damaged and are happy with wheel trims. For others, alloy wheels can really stylise the car and make it look more expensive and sporty.

The cost of alloy wheels ranges from a few hundred pounds up wards of three thousand pounds depending on what size and make you want.

If an alloy becomes damaged, it may not be able to be repaired but if it is repairable then you could be having to fork out fifty pounds plus per wheel. Alloy wheels really are a personal choice. You can get some really nice wheel trims that are designed to look like alloys for a fraction of the price, but often these can be easily broken and therefore will need replacing.
